GenPRD helps you turn ideas into build-ready specifications. We collect the minimum we need to run the service, we don’t sell your data, and your specs belong to you. This page explains exactly what we store and why.
1. What we collect
Account data: when you sign up we collect your name, email address and WhatsApp number. We use these to operate your account, secure sign-in (one-time codes), and send essential service messages.
Content you create: the product descriptions, context and specs you generate. If you are signed in and choose to save a spec, it is stored in your account so you can access versions later. If you are not signed in, generated specs are not stored on our servers.
Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps, request counts) used for rate-limiting, quota enforcement, abuse prevention and debugging.
2. How your content is processed
To generate a spec, the description you submit is sent to our AI model providers (currently DeepSeek and/or Anthropic, depending on your plan) for processing. We send only what is needed to produce your document.
We do not sell your content or use it to build advertising profiles.
3. Storage & security
Saved specs, projects and account data are stored in our database with access controls: every query is scoped to your account — other users cannot access your specs.
Passwordless sign-in codes are hashed, single-use and expire within minutes. Sessions are signed and time-limited.
We apply industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to all traffic.
4. Data retention & deletion
Your saved specs remain until you delete them or delete your account.
To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below — we will complete deletion within 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: session authentication. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate data, or request deletion at any time. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights — we honor reasonable requests regardless of location.
